Makeup Monday: e.l.f. Studio High Definition Powder

Back in January, I made an online order with e.l.f. for goodies from their Studio line which features makeup-artist inspired products at affordable prices. One of my *favorite* products from the line is the e.l.f. Studio High Definition Powder which is designed to invisibly set makeup with a soft focus effect. It could be considered as a "dupe" for the M.U.F.E. HD Microfinish Powder which retails for $30 and the e.l.f. Studio High Definition Powder retails for $6. I love that this powder feels light on skin and is great for setting concealer too. I use the e.l.f. Studio Powder Brush as my application tool of choice for my face but I use my #942 Slanted Contour from my 10 Piece Brush Set when applying the e.l.f. Studio High Definition Powder under my eyes.

ModCloth Inspiration 02.22.11

Currently obsessing over this cute chambray Afternoon Company Dress from ModCloth and decided to pair it with the Charter School Cardigan in Library ScienceChocolate Icing Piping Belt, and Woven Fresh Wedge Sandal. I haven't used POLYVORE in years so I'm investigating that option for outfit layouts and such if I'm not posting an #OOTD.

#TuesdayShoesDay - Steven by Steve Madden Linah

After experiencing a few days of 70-something-degree weather, spring is on my mind. These Steven by Steve Madden Linah peep-toe pumps caught my eye on 6pm.com and I am smitten with the stud detailing at the base of the peep toe. The blush color is a nice balance between nude and pink which could work with a variety of skin tones.

Since it's #TuesdayShoesDay, what shoes are on your mind at the moment?

Red Hot

As we all know, I'm very much a girlie-girl unless I'm schlepping it in baggy jeans and a t-shirt (which has been my daily uniform as of late unless I'm attending a networking event or a job interview.) I never really cared much about lingerie until I hit my mid-twenties. Due to my non-Victoria's Secret-regulation bra size, I tend to be a bit particular with my lingerie choices. When you wear a 34DDD/34F, your options run the gamut from sexy to dowdy (the Natori '136001' Contour Underwire Bra has been my everyday go-to bra). While perusing HerRoom.com, this Affinitas Intimates Parfait Charlotte Bra and Bikini caught my eye. While I tend to buy mostly black for my lingerie, the cherry red paired with black accents would be a red hot addition to my wardrobe. Besides, why not match my lingerie to my newly re-designed site? I haven't ordered anything from HerRoom before but I am drawn in by the selection of bras available my size. In this case, the cup runneth over with their available options at HerRoom.com!
